They are used for the manufacture of thermal insulation glass and for sealing expansion joints. They are permanently flexible. As these are two-component sealants, they harden quickly throughout their thickness.

Butmelt

It is a thermoplastic one–component sealant based on polyisobutylene used for thermal insulation glass primary sealing.

BUTMELT is a thermoplastic one-component sealant on the basis of polyisobuthylene usable for the primary sealing of heat-insulation glass.

Use

It has dual function – it glues spacers onto glass and creates vapour and gas diffuse barrier.
