Tekadom 1200°C

It is used for sealing and repairing joints in places where high temperature (up to 1200 °C) and fire resistance are required.

Tekadom 1200°C is a one-component fire resistant sealant made on the basis of inorganic silicates. It is used for repairing fireplaces, stoves, chimneys and fire resistant brick.

It is suitable for sealing around chimneys, stoves, cookers and pipes. After curing, the sealant is not flexible and therefore it is not suitable for dilatation joints sealing. It complies with REI 120/180 standard. It is asbestos free.

Use

It is used for sealing and repairing joints where high temperature resistance up to 1200 °C is required: stoves, chimneys, cookers, sealing around pipes. It can be applied onto concrete, aluminium, fireclay bricks, steel, and iron.
It complies with REI 120/180 standard. This means that the sealant can be exposed to temperature as high as 1200 °C and it will still prevent the spread of fire, smoke and gases.
