| How is the procedure for right sealing? |

1. Tape the edges with masking tape.
2. Cut the cartridge at the top and screw on the nozzle, which has to be cut according to the width of the joint and placed in the gun.
3. The sealant should be applied as evenly as possible.
4. At the end, level the sealant with an appropriate instrument of a well soaped finger.
5. Remove the masking tape before the sealant starts to harden.
6. Clean fresh sealant and tools with Tekafin cleaner. Hardened sealant should be removed mechanically first and then with the cleaner for hardened silicone Tekapursil S of Apursil.
| How correct dimension dilatating joint? |

For the optimal elastic characteristics of the sealant a correct width / depth ratio is important (2:1) or maximum of 1:1. The sealant must not adhesion the bottom of the joint but only its sides. The minimum joint width is 6 mm, the maximum 20 mm.
